A little over a year ago, at the entrance to Mogilev, a large-scale construction of a 20-meter triumphal arch began, the construction of which was timed to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the regional center. It was erected at the expense of donations from the townspeople. Today, one and a half thousand tons of concrete and 45 tons of rebar have already become a recognizable monument.

The monument was opened just in time for the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. The arch is decorated with bas-reliefs of high awards, which were awarded to the Mogilev region. These are the Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree and Lenin’s.
