Belarusian ethnographic village

(Mogilev district, Buinichi village)

"Belarusian ethnographic village of the XIX century" was opened in 2006. The ethnographic village is a complex that introduces visitors to the traditions of the Belarusian people, customs, rituals, Belarusian folk culture, handicrafts and the peculiarities of the Belarusian village of the 19th century

Here you can see the workshops of a blacksmith and a potter, and in the landowner's estate you can visit a tavern or stay at a hotel. Peasant huts are filled with craft workshops and souvenir shops. You can see live how weavers and potters worked in those years, and you can also take part in the forging process, helping the blacksmith to forge fences. You can take away an interesting craft as a keepsake.
