NATIONAL BANK AND HOTEL “GUBERNSKAYA”

Two architectural monuments of the beginning of the 20th century are located next to each other on Leninskaya Street. The building of the main department of the National Bank was built in 1904-1906 in eclectic style. Its main façade in highlighted by risalits with large arched windows, semi-columns and a balcony. The combination of sand and white colours gives the building a spectacular effect. The second building of the tsarist era, three-star Gubernskaya Hotel, is used today as a tourist attraction. Previously, within these walls there was a private women’s gymnasium of Zalessky, today the architectural monument is famous for one of the best hotel services in the city. The popular restaurant of European cuisine “Latuk” is located in the same building.
