The temple is located in Gorky Park, to the right of Revolution Square, the town hall and the registry office. The grand opening of the temple took place on May 27, 2014. So many believers came to the opening that not everyone could even find room inside the temple. Icons for the temple were collected throughout the region, some were shared by St. Nicholas Convent. The temple-monument to the soldiers who died on the battlefields was built on donations of parishioners. The walls even contain personalized bricks of virtues. Church services are held here, there is also a Sunday school and a church library. |
