 The world's only monument to the Astrologer is located in the Star Square of Mogilev. Its author is also Vladimir Zhbanov, who came up with an interesting composition: the Astrologer is sitting on a chair by the telescope and pointing to the sky. It is surrounded by 12 bronze chairs, symbolizing the signs of the Zodiac. Anyone can take a picture on the makeshift throne of their sign. They say that if you touch the Astrologer's fingers and make a wish, it will surely come true. The telescope is also unusual - it has a laser, the beam of which is visible in the sky for many kilometers. It’s true but they only turn it on during the holidays. The most famous of them is the international animation festival "Animaevka", which annually gathers in Mogilev cartoons from more than twenty countries.
