Spaso – Preobrazhensky cathedral

Mogilev diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

 On June 10, 2000, the solemn laying of a symbolic first stone and a capsule with a message to the future generations in the foundation of the cathedral took place. In 2008, gilded domes were installed on the built temple. Since 2010, interior decoration of the cathedral began. It was consecrated in August 6, 2015. The rite of the Great Consecration was conducted by Metropolitan Pavel of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. The cathedral can accommodate more than 3.5 thousand people and can be claim the title of the largest temple in Belarus (it’s height is 60 meters , the length and width is 51 and 31 meters)
